B2B

TThe term B2B stands for Business to Business, and describes transactions between businesses, such as between a manufacturer and a wholesaler. In our case transactions between producers and importers or distributors of wine and food products.

How it works

Organize a B2B requires planning and a lot of hard work, both before and after the meeting.
Each group is composed by 15-30 people, and the time available for negotiations is limited: a session lasts an average of 4-6 hours, including the tasting. For this reason it is important that both parties, Chinese and European, know in advance whom are they going to meet each time.
It’s therefore essential to translate and standardize in advance all the information relevant to the buyers, in order to measure their interest.

which information is relevant to buyers?

Samples

Another fundamental aspect is to have the product to taste, see, and leave as a sample to those who need the opinions of third parties. Final buying decisions are in fact almost always taken after the meeting, once business associates or -more often- key customers have given their feedbacks.

Failing to have the product on the spot when needed it is one of the most common reasons for negotiations failure.

It is therefore essential to have sufficient samples not only for the meeting, but also for the weeks and months ahead.
And given the cost of shipping by air and the uncertainties associated with diliveries, international couriers are certainly not a solution to the problem.

What solution do we offer

Experience has taught us that the best solution is to send the samples by sea. This allows to minimize the risks and above all have a lot more product available at reasonable cost.
For this reason Livit offers the samples shipping service.
